CUSTOMER FAQ

Common questions become project routes

These are the questions we hear most often. If yours is not here, send the product and target market straight to an engineer.

Talk to an engineer

01 Should compliance start at the prototype stage?
Yes. Once the target market and functions are fixed, mandatory requirements and key component selection follow, so early assessment cuts the cost of changes after tooling.
02 Can one report cover several markets?
Much of the data can be shared through the CB scheme or existing customer documentation. We compare standard versions and gaps first, then list what must be retested.
03 What should be prepared with the samples?
Units that can be disassembled, nameplate data, specification, BOM and critical component list. Wireless products also need operating modes and antenna details.
04 What happens when a test fails?
The lab reports the failing items and the difference against the criteria, engineers agree the corrective action with your R&D team, then only the affected items are retested.
05 What maintenance is needed after certification?
Annual factory inspections, key component change notifications, renewal before expiry and impact review when regulations change.
06 Can progress and reports be checked on the website?
Use Report and project inquiry with your project or report number; client services responds with the current status and delivered files.
